Hand Lettering

Sometimes I get the urge to draw out letters and words in this kind of interesting, flowing way. I guess we’ll call it hand lettering 😅

It’s super enjoyable and oddly therapeutic!

I usually do these with some kind of music or informational video playing, and I’d like to think that the energy of whatever’s on in the background becomes part of the final piece — you know, by osmosis or quantum mechanics or something 🤯😁

Acrylic Pouring

What's Acrylic Pouring?

I discovered this medium recently and it basically involves pouring some paint on a canvas and tilting the whole thing so the paint goes where you want it to go.

What’s interesting (and frustrating! 😂) is that sometimes the paint “listens” to you, but other times — more often than not, I should say — it doesn’t!

As Above, So Below

It’s kind of a metaphor for life. When I really try to make the paint to go in a certain place, the piece usually doesn't turn out that great and feels a bit contrived — but when I just let it flow even if it’s not going where I was expecting it to, it ends up turning out pretty cool.

Awesome stuff can happen if we just flow! 🌊
