Define Soliloquy
It’s time for me to write a soliloquy
What is a soliloquy?
Okay, Google
Define soliloquy
According to Google, it is “an act of speaking one’s thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers”
Does that mean I get to verbalize my random thoughts that I tend to keep suppressed?
And get credit for it?
I can dig that.
Should I stay or should I go?
Should I be or should I not?
Should I care, and if so how much?
Because based on past experience, I tend to care too much —
Like way too much.
So much that I stress myself out about everything, even stupid things
Which has been detrimental in the past
I’m trying to balance things out a bit.
Maybe I fucked up a little
In my balancing attempt
Going a little too far to the other side
But I think I’m getting back to my center
My mental, spiritual, yogic center
It will be, of course, a lifelong journey
And I will enjoy the journey while I’m here
And not worry so much about the destination
Because after all, it’s just a ride
No need to run, no need to hide
No need to stress
So I think I’ll stay
I think I’ll be
And I think I’ll care, but not too much.
Soliloquies are fun!
